Im just wondering, if we do sit ups, will the flab/fat that is in our stomach go away or do we need to do cardio for that?

The flab will not necessarily go away due to doing millions of crunches.

The ideal is believing that you can be lean, and visualizing what you want in your mind. Then allow yourself to slowly begin cardio and improved diet. Make the process easy and enjoyable.
